ASPENDOS OPERA FESTIVAL
From about 6 June to 10 July, every 2-3 nights there is a performance in the theatre at Aspendos. Turkish and International Opera and Ballet companies perform under the stars. It's easy to get tickets in Antalya or at the door. Buses run from the Museum in Antalya at 7:30 pm. About $15.

RAFTING ON THE KOPRULU CAY
Lots of companies run white water rafting trips from the Oluk Bridge down the river. The season runs from about April to end-September; in April/May you'll need a wetsuit - some companies provide them. It's exciting in spring, easy in summer. Lunch is usually included; in Juy/August the river is really crowded, so try and go early or late. $30 at most.

BOATING ON LAKE EGIRDIR
If you stay on the island, you can go early morning fishing with the fishermen on the lake, or hire a boat for a barbecue on some beach. Ask your pension owner.

SKIING AT DAVRAZ
Davraz has a ski centre and two lifts. The large sit-on teleski gets you to over 2000m, and there are at least 3 routes down. Season is from end December to early April, but in high winds the lift stops. Best after fresh powder snow - in February/early March the weather is often wonderful. SWIMMING
Just because this isn't a coastal route doesn't mean you can't swim - the canyons, rivers and lakes offer plenty of opportunities for a secluded dip.
